Elvis Night

There is a restaurant nearby our house that we frequent every now and then and I always wanted to sit in this wonderful Elvis booth that is filled with Elvis memorabilia. It is a very good collection and I was happy to sit for a while with the King himself. I have a small Elvis collection but not quite as fine as this one. It was a lovely evening; One Night with You.

Fairy Tales

Maya is still so much into the fairy tales, princesses and tiaras. There is something about it that keeps her captivated. It's so important to her to surround herself with many beautiful and sparkly things. Also they all have to be visibly displayed because if she keeps it in a drawer and she can't see it, it's as good as not having it. Maybe it's a matter of have and have not and she certainly doesn't want to be on the side of have not. It's not that she hasn't had much in China. She did have nice clothes until the orphanage staff took it away, she had long hair but they cut it, she had a photo of herself as a baby but it disappeared. So now she holds onto everything that she can. So we went to see the new Beauty and the Beast movie which she loved. I enjoyed it too. It was a fun night at the movies.

Brothers

My daughter caught the same kind of post with both of her little boys and it is the cutest thing. They're each wearing a hat and they are both looking up at it. So I put them together for her and the come is something we need to put in their scrapbook. The brothers are getting closer, The more JC is growing he can do more with his big brother BC. Love seeing them together and growing. Every kid should have a brother. Can't wait to see this relationship just get stronger and stronger.

March Memories

If only there were thirty six hours in the day of daytime I may be able to get everything done. Lately my blog has gone by the wayside and I don't like it but I really don't have a choice, It's either that or a walk with the dogs, the blog or update my daughters website Forever Loved Angel Gowns, the blog or get my pictures off the phone, the blog or take Maya to a sewing lesson, the blog or ... well you get the idea. So everything else seems much more important than the blog but whatever did we do in the past when we didn't have a blog. I can hardly recall the time without facebook or instagram and such. So here are some catch up posts hopefully to come. 

Love this colorful photo of Maya at the small shop where she takes sewing lessons. It's small but colorful and cozy and Maya loves learning to sew because well as we know she wants to be a fashion designer among other things.

Jax loves hats of any kind. He will wear most any hat but so long as he puts it on and he knows the way he likes it.

Brandon can't help but get another sit down with his favorite man, Ronald, next favorite after daddy of course.

Maya got a new winter coat that keeps her well protected and the fur around the hat is quite something, it might be keeping her warm but it is a little hard to see around that mane.

Our favorite Crepes or Palachinke as we call them in Croatian. They are best with some jam, cinnamon, chocolate fudge, or just plain sugar. Mom makes them with sugar and ground nuts and that is delicious too. I make the batter and my hubby flips them.

Maya still likes making pizza bagels. They may be easy and quick but they are a favorite of ours for a quick snack on the go.

And just had to add this one of Jax when he wants to show us that he is mad about something. It's the drop to the ground and cover his face trick. We're on to you Jax.
