A New LIfe
Sherie and John and their two little sons have had their whole lives turned out upside down. They have uprooted their family and moved to the East Coast to do something they've never done before, to run an Inn. They have taken much of the changes in stride and are trying their best to give this new opportunity a chance. Hopefully they can make it in this business and support their family in the meantime.
Kris-tina
Just wanted to have a little Kristina here. Since she is not here in NB to enjoy all the snow I kept copies of some of her pictures I'd like to enjoy here. She and her BF Kenny are enjoying snow in their neck of the woods with River at their side.
Chinese New Year 2019
Each year we celebrate Chinese New Year so we get to celebrate New Year twice in a row. It's all good with us because we get to have another special dinner and enjoy it with our family. Here we are with a table filled with the food we had made and we are ready to eat it, including Maya doing last minute preparations and then after dinner was sledding time.
There is a River
Looks like River loves his sticks, large, small and medium. He loves trampling through the woods in snow and roll around in it. He is an adventurous dog enjoying his life to the fullest. If only we could all do that at all times. Good going River.
Joy in Snow
This day was particularly snowy but warm so we got outside for some fun in that soft powdery stuff. We have lots more white snow here than in the city. It takes longer to get that brown snow we don't like. So we got out quite a few times into our yard where the snow was pure white and beautiful.

The Kids
This is my older grandson Brandon. He is a growing boy too. He is already in grade 3 and is moving on up in the age. He and his younger brother by four years don't always have something in common but they try to get along and find things to do together. They had fun this summer playing with new friends and running around in their own backyard where their parents didn't have to shadow their every move like they once did. Here Brandon pauses long enough to give me time for a few pictures.
Maya also took a moment to smile for the camera. She is trying to get adjusted to her new school which is way different than her old one, so she tells us. She would still like to have some of her old friends back but she is slowly making new ones.
Jaxon looks lovingly into his aunty's dark eyes.
He's quite the little cuddle bug. And Maya loves
having her nephews around.
Unique
More old things from around the house. There is an endless supply of them. Some are just old and some are ancient, like original items from 160 years ago. Some things are very interesting and I will go look at them again just to take in every detail. Some of course need to be replaced but most are worth keeping or refurbishing but mostly they are all very unique and I love having them.
