Kristina is a mama to three fur babies. She now has River who sits here in the car to the left on the picture and she is holding Brooklyn who is still a puppy here. Both dogs have grown up a lot since then but Krissy sure does look happy with her fur babies and Kenny driving the car. At home she also has a cat named Goose.
Love the table setting here with the beautiful dishes we got last year for the Inn. They fit in perfectly and look very elegant. Here John has the table all set for one of the fantastic dinners he creates for us with the flowers that were blooming at the time. We are lucky to have John in the family, a chef who feeds us so well. Thank you John.
Just because I love nature, especially flowers I'm looking at them every day to see what is new and what is blooming. Caught these beautiful flowers at the peak of their blooming. Even the view from my window is breathtaking.
These are from the day we went for a walk by the river. It was a beautiful and sunny day for a walk. The kids enjoyed it and the scenery was ready for picture taking. The clouds reflected in the water like cotton balls.
Of course the grade 8 graduation is very special for everyone and it was a special day for Maya as she completes middle school and gets ready for high school in the coming September. She looked forward to the day as she shopped for a special dress and shoes to wear. The whole class practiced the routine for the graduation moment and afterward there was a party for them all to enjoy. Here are a few pictures from that day to keep in our memories. We are so proud of Maya and how far she has come as a part of our family. At the bottom is a much younger Maya with her sister Kristina.
There are lots of flowers starting to bloom and getting ready for summer. Love the fact that every couple of weeks or so a new and different plant will come up and start to bloom. Trees tower above us filled with their gorgeous green leaves. So here we are stepping out again for an iced tea and coffee. I'm not drinking coffee too much lately. I just feel better that way but I'm not missing out hot tea, cold tea and other juices. There is more to life than coffee. Below we are inspecting the side of the house, walking down the cute little walkway and another part of the property we love and Jaxon comes out of the trees where there is a little walk through to his friends.
So it was Father's Day and Fathers were celebrated on this very special day. Here is Maya's little card for her father. Then a beautiful picture of my father and I. Below is a picture of how Father's Day was celebrated back in the day when you just fell asleep in your father's lap like Krissy did. Charlie gets a nice breakfast from Maya and Brandon's help. Even Sherie left al little note for her dad and at last Charlie and I get together and he thanks me for making him a father many times over. A lucky man he is, that is for sure.
