Sweet Corner

 Checking out the menu here to see what's for breakfast. We did order the crepes, Palachinke, mine sweet, Charlie's salty. There's no shortage of sweets at every corner which is nice and naughty because I could be eating something sweet all the time but eventually it shows. And there are some things around town such as the antique  scale against that gorgeous red background, and Stevo's beautiful Vespa, cats of Zadar, a cow and the painting I started, first with a wet layer that showed the reflections from above, one that has a profile in it and then turned into something very abstract.

Sv. Filip & Jakov Beach

 Another nice beach to visit and take a swim at would be this one at Saint Filip & Jakov. It's another beautiful area and of course tourists are everywhere. We try to get there early before the crowds come in and that is the best way to enjoy it. Plus it's not as hot as it is at noon and onwards. There is an island nearby here, called the Island of Love because the shape of it is a heart but  you can only really see it from above. There's also lots of trees and flowers everywhere.

Beach in Bibinje

 This time we decided to go to a beach in Bibinje. Usually, we drive right by this town to get to a beach somewhere further away from Zadar so it was time to visit Bibinje and check out their beach. It was lovely, with straw umbrellas, nice spots to sit and clear water. We spent the morning there and then went to McDonalds in Zadar and went back to Jelena part to see the colored night lights in the trees.
