Later we got back into the world of the living while we visited with my cousins Ana and Kaja. It was a good end to the day, catching up with more family. The sisters live close to each other and nearby the St. Rozalija church which is shown from different sides in the later afternoon.
We drove on to Paulin Dvor where just on the outskirts my mother's father, Josip, is buried. The cemetery was originally started far in a farming field and never moved. It was very quiet and peaceful there with no houses immediately nearby. We helped mom tidy up this grave and then afterward, we also visited a third cemetery.
Had to show you this ancient and a bit strange watering system just outside of Ivanovac. It's tall and a bit awkward looking. Then there is the house I was born in that still stands, different looking but still there, as well as the updated outhouse seems to be there where one of my first pictures was taken in a small bathtub with the outhouse in the background. We also visited the cemetery where my father's parents, Mijo and Julka are buried, along with some of his brothers and sisters. Mom makes sure to tidy up the graves and light a candle for those that have departed this earth.
