These are just a few more pictures on the way back from the spring, lots of rocks everywhere. Then there is the pipeline going all the way up the mountain, and those things I call the aliens because those wind turbines always look so strange and giant to me.
So, we drove quite a ways, deep into the Velebit country and eventually, after asking around, found the little spring. It comes directly off the mountain, but it looked like any other creek, with rocks and moss, broken branches etc. We did fill our water bottles. The little spot was quite enchanting as forests go, with lots of greenery and yes, rocks. It was still cloudy but it didn't rain much so at least we had a little adventure but never got wet. In the end, we were too afraid to drink the water. We thought of boiling it but what's the point in that.
Someone told us there was a good spring coming off of the mountains that we should check out. It was quite a long ride but very scenic with the Velebit mountains right along the road. It is quite the rugged terrain and remote as well. There were a few things to see like a dam they're using for something, and a very long pipeline. This is part 1 where we just came to the path where we can only go by foot.
Just a few things around the house, because the gardens are not very big around the property. There are two fig trees and one olive tree, plus some herbs in pots and ground, but they are not doing very good because they are only dependent on the rain which comes once in a while. I'm not sure if I named all of them correctly but that's it.
