One more walkabout and then it was supper time. We ate close to home so we could just walk across and get to bed for the travel back to Zagreb the next day. Looking forward to spending a few days there with my parents and my aunt and a little bit of sight seeing as well.
Just taking in one more day before vacation in Zadar was over. It certainly was nice to travel again after the hard couple of years we've all had. Hopefully things will stay on the up and up. But our vacation is not quite over yet. Love the black kitty that came for a visit at breakfast.
Another birthday, another year gone by. They seem to be passing by so quickly lately. When we are young we think we still have forever to live but you just never know what future has in store. So far so good but not liking the way time goes by so fast. If it slowed down a little it would be much better. On my birthday my son surprised me with this lovely bouquet of flowers, also got a card from everyone and then I was wined and dined from morning until night. So even though I'm one year older it was still a great day.
The water in Vlasici was crystal clear. You could see all the way to the bottom and schools of baby fishes that went by. The sun was shining brightly and it was a hot day. We stayed a couple of hours on the beach and then tried the restaurant but it was closed. It was only open certain hours. I got a couple of nice pictures of Steven with the Sea and the Croatian flag. Later in the evening I worked on another piece of art.
