Day at the Beach
It was a beautiful day to get out a little and explore the sand and the ocean. It didn't take too long to get there so we got all our stuff we would need to spend the day at the beach. The kids loved it and the adults liked taking a nice stroll up and down the seashore. The water was a little bit cold but the kids didn't mind at all.

Pagan
There is a street around the corner from us, just off Pagan, that has these amazing trees which drape over the pavement. Each year when the leaves come in I have to go for a walk that way and just breathe in that greenery of the trees. It's breief. The tunnel like vision doesn't go on forever but what there is, is wonderful to experience.
Berry Pie
Wanted to share this beautiful and very tasty pie that John made. It was filled with berries on the side and chocolate underneath. It was yummy and was quickly gone. Every now and then John bakes a cake and they are always delicisous.
Two Old but Special Pics
Love my old photos and the memories they bring. After life goes by the memories and the photos are all we have left. Found these two gems of my son Steven holding his baby sister Kristina by the tulips outside our home and the other one is my mother holding baby Kristina and Steven is standing by. Sometimes Steven had longish hair but he looks handsome just the same. Mom of course looks the same as always, younger than me, lol.
Real Shopping Trip
Going shopping is one of the simplest things we used to do, browsing endless isles of toys. Every now and then we took them out to take a look at what is new and interesting in the toy world. They usually picked out something to take home. After that we had something to eat and drink because well looking at toys is very hard work and everyone was hungry and thursty afterward. Nowadays we can't do that too much anymore and the boys have to keep up on what's going on with the toys Online instead of in person.
Muscles
On occasion my husband cooks and he does a really good Muscle Soup. Usually it's a family favorite at Christmas time but sometimes we crave it during the year so on this day we begged for more. The recipe comes from a book and a place my husband worked at once upon a time, called Primo.
The rumbling waters you see below is the borderline between Canada and USA which we were able to visit often before all this happened. The river can be fast and high in some places so it's not somewhere you could swim over to see our neighbours.
Below the river are brothers who are actually hugging for a brief moment before they go back to fighting, wrestling and all that other stuff that brothers do.
