Saying Yes to the Dress

Here our little girl  looks very grown up as the tries on dresses for her grade 8 graduation. She tried on many more dresses than what we see here because you know, a girl has to look just right for that very special night. Glad however that the middle school is behind her and now on to bigger and better things like grade 9 in September. That was still when going back to school was a normal. By the way the black dress got the Yes.

Happiness

Look at this little guy playing his daddy's drums and how happy he is. He's banging away and it all sounds good to him. Good this noise maker is in the basement. You can hear it in the house but the sound is less if we run to a far part of the house. Jaxon is having a good time and the little birdie is too grabbing all the seeds at the bird feeder. Below that is the most beautiful fawn with the most alert eyes.

Beauty Down the Street

Went for a ride just down the street and came upon all this beauty. St. Croix river in the afternoon with all the reflections staring back at us. Deer walking on the road. The sunset was upon us, making all the colors around us all the more vibrant. Of course I can't help but take a ton of photos because all the photogenic areas are right before me.

Bangor Visit

Last year we went for a little ride to Bangor, Maine just to get out a little and see what's going on over there. We had lunch at our favorite restaurant the Olive Garden and had their delicious bread sticks and seafood. We had some relax time and then we visited one of my favorite authors, Stephen King, or at least the streetview of his beautiful but scary house. There are bats on the front gate, eeks.

Mother's Day Everyday

Just a few photos from Mother's Day of last year. We had a great lunch served and it was a great day over all. It should be Mother's Day everyday, it's nice to be treated but it's still Mother's Day in other ways when I look at all the blessings I have in my family.
