Moon Walk

We made a couple more stops that night in beginning of September. One was at the small café by the bridge. The sun had set by now and blackness overtook the sky. It got a bit cooler so we had tea to warm us up. We sat for a while watching the bridge lights and the reflections in the water then we got up and moved on. We walked all the way to the other side to stroll down the pier and see the old town from another point of view.  By now we could see the moon clearly above us lighting the gentle waves in the sea. At some point, the night out eventually ended.

Sitting Under the Palms

I really never noticed that palm trees can be of different kinds. When we paused so sit down by the sea I took pictures of all the palm trees around us and saw all this texture. Each palm tree had different bark - different color, different texture, different pattern, each one so intricate  and beautiful in its own way.  Some were tall and some were short. We sat under the palms for a while just watching the sun go down before we moved on to our next stop.

Sunset on the Bridge

Sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day to enjoy every moment that comes before us. A sunset by the bridge drew us for another walk there to watch the water and the sky become blended into one. The colors were mazing and though it looks like we were the only ones on the bridge, there were a ton of people around us and it took very careful photo planning to keep them out.

More Courtyard

We found yet another courtyard to check out use as background for our pictures. Ancient arches still stand strong here adorned by ivy and other greenery which make a beautiful backdrop for our portraits. Even I had to get a picture in this lush and magical place.
