Past & Present

Just a few different photos of the kids, from the past and present, including Maya the kitty and the boys. They can be so sweet and cuddly with each other and then again, you know, boys will be boys. There is puppy River enjoying a walk on the beach and the very last pic is a barn on a foggy morning somewhere around here.

Signs of Spring

The first sings of spring are always a few flowers that come up in the garden. The very first ones are the tiny crocuses in their beautiful colors or purple, yellow and white.

Not sure what these flowers are but they are pretty too.

Here are the tiny crocuses in front of the house. They creep up
below the brush of winter weeds to brighten up the
garden before it starts to fully bloom.

On the way to somewhere with hubby.

Easter 2019

Such a cute little one looking out the window, his eyes all shiny with hope that soon
Easter bunny would be here and below the girls are out for a little fun. Not sure where
they were off to but nice to see them all together and
smiling too.

And then the Easter hunt was over as the goodies were collected
and lunch was served.

And this is what lunch looked like at Grandma's House,
with the lovely dessert too.

The end of April is always bittersweet because we remember Liam
who should've been with us on Easter morning.

End of April

This was while still preparing for Easter. Krissy was still here and joining us for dinner. It was a great day to be together and some flowers of course help us feel like spring is on its way even though winter just kept hanging on with more cold weather. Sometimes we're trying to rush spring to come along when we should live in the moment and enjoy the coolness of winter even if it is the end of April 2019.

Outing

This was the day we went to pick up some seafood in St. George. Krissy was over and we showed her around a little. It was a cool day but nice and sunny so it was easy to get out and about. Jax came along and he let us pose him with his Teta. And at the bottom is a truck from my old work. It's been nice knowing them but it was time to move on to new and different things.  Sometimes you just never know where things take you and on occasion you have to listen to others.

Napping

Look at these sleeping beauties. Adorable. Great hair too. They look so sweet and innocent when asleep and later on when they wake up it's full on play, noise and mischief. Of course we wouldn't want it any other way because boys will be boys.   Below the sleeping beauties is Jaxon and all his many and cute faces.

W A Last Year

April 16th 2019 came around, which was our Wedding Anniversary but Charlie was not here. This is the only one we did not spend together, in fact there isn't a lot of time that we spent apart before. There was one week once when he had to go on some work related time off somewhere else but otherwise a day here or there spent apart and that is all. Some couple sometime want a vacation separately but we never got into that. So anyway, Sherie made a Sarma the way grandma had taught her and it was delicious and afterward some dessert. Below are some pics from around town a few days later.
