Steven Greets Us

 Driving through Zagreb, I noticed the traditional architecture all around town. That is one reason I love Zagreb, there is no lack of unusual or very old but still lovely buildings, with many intricate details. The beautiful yellow building is the Zagreb theater. Our son Steven met us at the house, and it was nice to see him again. He made sure that we cam in to some of our favorite foods for lunch. Mom and dad made it up the hill to the house. My aunt had a beautiful gardens, which included the peonies, roses and in the past blue hydrangea.

Arrived in Croatia May 2025

 There was quite the anticipation for this long ride on the plane to Croatia. It was a good flight with not much turbulence. We even arrived a half hour early. Getting through customs was easy and then it was time to get an uber to take us to the house, and that was fine too, so all in all a good start to this trip.

Things in the Yard

Magically the backyard comes back to life in May and becomes as green as can be. We had some odd things in the yard back then and we planted a lilac tree in memory of Sherie and John's twins, Liam  & Nathan. At the very bottom is Krissy's dog Brooklyn.
