Continuing our explorations we came upon a nice little park where there were some statues of various important figures throughout Croatian history. There was lots of shade here and we look for shade a lot because pure sun cuts our walk short. At the bottom is me with a tree.
Taking another walk around the old town. My eye catches everything, every stone, every window and flowers while Charlie walks on by because yes, we've seen it all before. Last time we were here was in 2022, which was a good year but time flies and it's already three years later. There are quite a few old churches n this area and each one is very interesting and unique.
This was a nice night out with Steven and his friend feasting on a seafood dinner and lots of drinks. Luckily this corner of the restaurant had a breeze going through it because otherwise it was still a hot day even though it was late afternoon. We spent almost four hours here just talking and enjoying the breeze.
First it was breakfast out, if you can get a table that is, perhaps you might have to wait and then eat. Another walk afterwards looking at all the wonderful architecture on old buildings and homes around Zadar. There is always an interesting door or window or textures to be inspected in more detail. And yes, the beauty is in the details.
