So it was a good to spend time with mom and dad in the Zagreb square, or the Trg. We did stop off for a cold drink which was very much needed at the time. The square didn't look as busy as it sometimes is. We sat there a while and then walked to the market to eat the Burek. After that we waited for our ride. The Zagreb Cathedral is getting a make over again, both of the towers this time. It seems they are always working on it but there are many many details to renovate.
Some gardening got done, grass trimmed and flowers cleaned up, then we were off to the city square. We wanted to have some Burek for lunch but the restaurant was full so we we went shopping first and by the time we came back they were out of Burek except for one piece so we shared it between the four of us. We did walk around a bit and spent some time at the market place.
Hydrangeas were in full bloom, blue, pink and yellow. They are so pretty against different shades of green. Even the gnome thinks so. He's missing a nose but he's still okay. Mom and dad look good and keep busy with upkeeping the house and gardens. I wish I could be as energetic as they are but I usually keep busy in other ways which don't have to do with cleaning, lol.
