This beautiful little boy allowed me to take his picture while sitting next to the Christmas Tree of 2019 in our new home in St. Stephen, NB. Love his fashion sense and hairstyle. He was being nice to Baka but really all he wanted to was open a present or two early. Below is our Georgia who has wormed into everyone's hearts except when she tries to hog the TV remote.

The Tree was Decorated
So our tree was decorated and looked gorgeous in the bay window of the parlor. Loved just sitting there and watching the lights twinkle and just the sheer beauty of the tree. We worked on spreading the decorations all around the house too so here is a little peek of the different corners of the house. And at the very bottom is Sherie's delicious Sarma, hot from the oven, all the ingredients still bubbling and the delicious scent permeating the air. It was a great Sarma Sherie, thank you.
Sunny Day
This little squirrel is busy all day looking for nuts and things to get back to her nest for the winter. Hopping all over the place, from branch to branch all day long, such a busy and cute little squirrel she is. After watching the squirrel a trip to Saint John was in order to pick up a few things. It was a nice sunny day back in December a few days before Christmas. Love the lonely highways of NB.

It's Impressive
We just got the tree into the house. This was one Charlie picked out and it was immense and a very good shape. It was hand picked. We loved putting up in the parlor of our new home. It fit perfectly in the bay window that faces the front of the house down towards the St. Croix River. Everyone was excited to see the tree put up and were looking forward to decorating it but first the lights had to be set up all around. We weren't sure if we would have enough but we did. It was a nicely lit up tree. The lighting was done by John with help from Sherie. And the tree came with a tag of number 760. So here is the start of our Christmas Season.

Loving the Tree
Getting our tree into the house was a bit of work but the boys managed it. We put it in the parlour by the bay window and it was just the perfect spot for it. For once we had lots of room still for the presents and for the ceremonies of opening them up. First though the lights have to be fitted into the tree and below John begins the job of winding them up the tree. We did need more lights however than usual as the tree is the tallest we've ever had, standing up to ten feet and a beautiful tree it is.
