A Start of aTrip

This is back in 2018 when we took a trip to Croatia and our daughter Maya came along. It was a long ride on the plane, back when we were allowed to travel without a care. It's always fun arriving even though we're usually very tired. At the start of our vacation it's always exciting but once vacation is over and we need to go back to our daily grind the excitement disappears. That's the way with vacations, they can't last forever.

Golden Sunset

On this occasion we wanted to see the sunset on the Atlantic and we were not disappointed. It was such a beautiful evening that we strolled the pier at St. Andrews for quite some time just taking in the golden colors of this glorious sunset. had to see it right to the point the sun went down to capture it in pictures  as much as I could. The little boats dotted the water, reflecting the sun. There are homes by the shoreline and the occupants get to enjoy this view every single day.

Lunch or Dinner

A day out on the sea, or the Atlantic Ocean. This is our favorite spot to visit in the summer to take a walk or sit down for a coffee or lunch or dinner and gaze out over the serenity of the ocean. We go with our friends and just chat the day away. Sometimes we even come here separately and then run into each other which is hilarious because sometimes we feel we need to do some things on our own and then we still get together. All is good when visiting St. Andrews By The Sea.

Afternoon Shadows

Love the beautiful and shady summer afternoons with the trees on the side of our house. They throw shadows on the walls that look like paintings. I often walk through this part just to enjoy the light and shadows, including checking out the basement window even though it's a little bit creepy. Lower down on this page is a silly picture of me on the teeter totter that was made for the kids but I thought I'd give it a try only this once. The boys thought it was super funny. Later on it rained.
