This is what's going on at home. There are new developments in the yard. The rest of family decided they needed a new sitting and firepit area in the back. So off they went designed a square and went on to build what turned out to be a cute sitting area for some chit chatter. Not only was the being cooked up for a surprise for us there was also Sarma in the oven that looked delicious.

Orange Sky
This R is one thing I found at Wastewise. It's a perfect R I think. This was just one thing amongst many other things. Then we had some appointments to get to but still had some time for more resting at a nearby restaurant with Stevo. It was a nice and warm day and in the evening the most spectacular color fell upon the clouds in the sky. It was beautiful so of course I got some pictures, the second one below is a reflection in the car window, just as beautiful.
Puttering Around
Just a few things we did and seen in TO on this trip. Had coffee with Stevo. He looked good certainly because Baka was taking good care of him. Brandon enjoyed his ice cream and Maya just likes to go anywhere where she is treated, loves to study the menu, lol. We went to our old house. It's still there but it's not ours anymore and looks a little different. Then off to my favorite place Wastewise where I find all the treasures I need for my crafting. Thanks to hubby who very patiently waits for me outside for me to finish rummaging through old stuff but you know someone's old stuff is someone else's treasure.

Road Trip to Toronto
It started as a nice day but soon it clouded over and rain fell just at the time we left home on an 15 hour trip to see our family down south. The drive was going well, not too much traffic, if any for most of the way. The rain was on and off. We had company in the back seat with Maya and Brandon. Last time Brandon was having some car sickness but this time he did much better. We stopped over for a night to get our legs stretched and get some food down. Then in the morning we took the rest of the trip and arrived at my parent's place in a half decent time. What was happening there? It was raining.
For the Love of Trees
Just because I love trees and our friends have these very tall trees that come in some beautiful designs in the bark, branches and leaves. When I see a tree I inspect the different sides of it. So even though these grow in our friend's back yard they stand tall with lots of character. So our neighbors get to enjoy these green beauties every day and soon they will be green again.
We're Off to St. Martins
On this day we took the long trip to St. Martins. It was a great day for a road trip so the ride was smooth. Didn't know it's almost 3 hours away but we made it to the Caves. Never seen anything like this before. The caves looked enormous even from a distance. We came later in the day and it wasn't enough time to go into the caves as the tide was coming in. There were a few people that were almost stranded. They made it back just in time. We strolled on the beach and got our feet wet and then sat down for a great lunch at the Caves Restaurant. It was mostly sunny and warm and a good day for photos as well. In the Marina where the ships are docked the ships sit on sand while the tide is out then get lifted when water comes in. There is lighthouse and a covered bridge that make this a quaint little town with a beautiful view to the Atlantic ocean. Hopefully we can visit St. Martins again soon.
