On this day we took a nice drive to Sibenik which is a beautiful old town a little further down the Dalmatian coast. Charlie partly grew up here and has some fond memories of his childhood, like going swimming in the mornings or evenings, diving for muscles and enjoying many sunsets. It was a very hot day and the hot was scorching. We walked around a bit but I wanted to get out of the sun so we were looking for a restaurant. That wasn't hard, there are lots of restaurants on the main strip by the long pier that leads into the ocean. We sat down at one such restaurant but the heat here was stronger than walking on the pier. We had to abandon the restaurant and decided to leave. Before we did, we also took a visit to the cemetery where Charlie's mom is buried.
