Just a little advertising in this post for my son Steven. He's started a scooter rental and is starting off well with this new orange Vespa. He came up with the name VoziVespa which means Drive a Vespa. It sounds good to me, it's rather catchy. So I took some photos and added wording so he can use it on his Instagram account @vozi_vespa. Below is a palm tree I'm painting and then supper again, this time at a pizzeria called Mrak which means Dark.
We like having breakfast out every now and then. Just get up, get ready and eat outside. But we tend to wake up late, some of us do anyway, so we're looking more at brunch which as we found is easy to find. Mostly restaurants cater to lunch and most importantly dinner. Come evening time streets are full of patrons eating dinner and everywhere it's full seating. We did find a brunch down the road somewhere. Got some sandwiches and I found a piece of cake I liked. Are there any I don't like??? lol
I love doors. Doors show many historical characteristics. This one has a beautiful frame as well with the almost braded carvings. Windows too have so much character with their chiseled glass and patterns on top. Below is an unusual flower, for me anyway. I 've not seen one like it before so I don't know the name of it. It was just handing on a wall in full bloom. Even the bee was attracted to it.
There are red buildings here and there in Zadar and if you can find this one it's a must see. It is the red wall Courtyard with ancient arches, stairs and windows. In the center of it is a large well. Love the architecture here and it's always a pleasure to walk through. Of course there are intricate details of sculptures everywhere we go. Some are still in excellent shape and some are barely visible but still beautiful.
This post is all about Maya and mine haircuts. Here Maya is smiling before her cut while mine was already done. She had her bangs cut as well. Mine is some sort of a pixie cut but it is great to keep me cook on more hot days ahead. We stopped off for a drink and a coffee. Maya always likes having some colorful drink and I guess this is the place for it. We didn't stay long as it was around noon and you know the sun is out, which means I better get home, into the AC, lol.
