January is Kristina's birthday month. She was born in middle of winter on Saturday, Jan. 25th 1992, at 6:30 in the morning. Charlie had just gone to work for some overtime but soon had to return because I was having labor contractions which weren't going away. So we went to the hospital and she was born like a half hour later. The doctor didn't even make it in. Nurses and Charlie delivered Krissy as she literally shot out of me. Love this little baby, now a beautiful grown woman.

Winter Days
This is the dining room before it was painted to red. The wallpaper of pink roses was very faded and coming off in some places. The snowy days continued. Maya and Brandon were in school but Jaxon was still at home so he kept us entertained. There is one Chinese restaurant in town that we are getting to know. The place is not too crowded but the food was good. Georgia developed an ear infection so we took her to the vet to get some drops which Charlie gave her. She was a very good girl at the vet's and taking her drops. Below are some photos of St. John.
Around the Inn
At the time the innkeeper's apartment was painted in these bright colors of their choice. In the meantime the shower in Room #5 was still being worked on. It was otherwise quiet at the Inn for now but guests started booking rooms for their upcoming spring and summer vacations. It was an exciting time when we were looking forward to the business taking off and keeping all of us employed. Below are a few teacups from my large teacup collection. The two doggies are River and Brooklyn, they are Kristina's puppies. And check out Jaxon and his beautiful eyes.
