Zadar from the Top - part 1

Starting the day off right with some Palachinke with jam. My favorite. After breakfast we took a walk up the stairs to an area where you can see some sides of Zadar from the top. It is a beautiful view of the bridge, ships that are docked around it and on the other side it's the old town. It's a great walk with views all around and there are benches if you prefer to sit down and just relax. There a new hotel across the canal, the Hyatt Regency. Make sure you get the Seaview room.

Watching the Sea

We had our coffee and drink on another side of town. It was another lovely day with big blue sky. Watching the waves ripple across the sea is always a very relaxing pastime. Charlie likes to have his espresso coffee and I have a drink, either Jana or Fanta and we try to take in the summer as it will soon come to an end. At the bottom is another painting of mine.

It's in the Details

Just some of my photography of trees, details on windows and doors and whatever else comes along. I love texture and different color combinations on buildings and there is never a lack for that in Zadar and any other towns in Dalmatia like Sibenik and Split. One town I've not visited yet is Dubrovnik. We've just not gone as far down the coast yet, maybe next year.
