Funny Homework

I like to go exploring in parks and bushes and take lots of pictures but the bushes are not such a great idea for Maya because the mosquito really like her. Mosquitoes hardly ever bother me so for me this is fine. I tried to pull her back but she does like exploring too which is great as long as the mosquito leave her alone. In China I sprayed her a lot and for the most part that worked but I never saw any mosquito there and yet she was always getting bitten. I don't know are mosquito tiny in China. Here you see them coming a mile away.

Not sure why doing homework is so funny or perhaps it's her sister's straight face that's making her crack up. Also maybe it's because she's having to draw her new family whom she's just getting to know. I didn't think we were that funny but you never know what she sees in us.

And here is Mr. B. peeking over his mom's shoulder and having a good time eating a yummy cupcake which he really likes and drinking his Aqua, in other words water. Not sure where he learned to say aqua but it's kind of cute and he loves it.

He also loves his Mama and holds and kisses her hand as he travels across town in his car seat. See those eyes half closed it's his cheeky look usually letting us know he's done something "cheeky" in this case it was just a kiss and oh so passionate.

Family

Just a quick post to add this card we got from my aunt and her family at the welcome home party for Maya back in August. The words are just so perfect and I wanted to add it here for a keepsake. It's really talking about an infant child I'm sure but it seemed so right for this occasion too as our family got bigger by one.
 Thank you aunt Veronika.

Special Birthday

We gathered our family together for another celebration, this time my birthday. We had a nice lunch together and let Maya go at the Chinese food though she did have it backwards I did not argue. She ate whip cream and ice cream first and then the meat. Still the many choices were too much for her and she did not fill her plate at all but had one thing or two things at a time. She did have a good time with the family as she slowly blossoms in social situations. There was a happy birthday song but luckily no one asked my age, let's keep it quiet please. I know another year has gone by but who's counting. Eventually we all get older so let's just keep it at that only this birthday is very special as this year I'm a mother again to this lovely young girl. I"m very thankful for the gift of another child this year and at this time of my life.

Mom and dad looking good as always. I'm glad they are up to a little party or a little get together whenever something is going on. They are both doing good and at the moment are even learning to use a little computer.

I love Brandon's China's silk outfit. It is a perfect fit for him right now and he doesn't mind wearing it. The little dragon looks awesome.  Maya picked a good colour as it really pops on him.  Will have to get him a bigger size next time.

Brandon loves his great grandpa and great grandma and comes over to give them kisses. He is a lucky boy to experience grandparents and great grandparents, something I never had and even my grandparents passed away early and two grandfathers whom I never met. It's a great feeling to have many generations in the family.
