On this day we made our way about half hour away from Zadar to check out a beach in Maslenica. There are several beaches, this one was just one of them called Beach Rustine. Really, the whole edge of Maslinica is one long beach and you can find a spot anywhere you like. It was a hot and a great day for a dip in the sea to cool off. The views are beautiful and there are boat excursions which take you between the mountains in the Zrmanja Canyon which I believe is just past the Maslenica Bridge. The original bridge, built in 1961, was destroyed during the Croatian War of Independence but was reconstructed in 2005.
