School Picnic

On 05.21 there was another school picnic for Maya. This time her sister Krissy came along for a hamburger and some fun. These two have been trying to bond as much as they can. The older has taken the younger on some trips to the woods. They both seem to like exploring nature.  Now, Krissy who used to be the youngest in the family has a little sister. I think at times she might be a little bit jealous but mostly she is amused in having a younger sibling that she never had before. True this sibling was not a baby but a nine year old when she came into the family but it may be just as well. The two often go the mall or watch a family movie, giving the older a good excuse to re-watch some of her favourite movies she watched as a child. They giggle and talk through it and I believe a good time was had by all.
