In the meantime when we got back to Maslenica later that day, we enjoyed a drink by the Riva during sunset. The sky was painted in orange and yellow hues, and the heat of the day had died down a tiny bit. Mind you, it was still 30C which goes into the night when it cools down to 26C somewhere around 3 o'clock in the morning. Though clouds had gathered, it did not rain that evening. So we were good to sit there and enjoy the views. Across from the outdoor cafe was the restaurant the cafe belongs to, in which we had lunch once before. It's a lovely round building with large windows that reflected the sunset and the sea. Dark had fallen by the time we walked home. Yes, we walked uphill and I made it, lol.
