It was evening. The sun had not set yet, but we decided to take a little ride to the other side, of the sea, that is. The town directly opposite Maslenica is Novigrad and that's where we headed. The weather was comfortable and we found a parking spot by the water. The town is situated between two mountains. On one side are beautiful woods and on the other side and right above the town are the remains of an old castle. We took a walk to about half of the town when the sun came down and dipped into the sea, casting the water, boats and buildings in shades of gold. It was a perfect night. We stopped to refresh ourselves with a cold drink and then we were on our way back.
